FAQ
-
What makes NNS different?
We design for real life, not just for the lounge chair. That means full coverage that actually covers, fabrics that perform in and out of the water, and silhouettes that feel elevated, not overly exposed or overly conservative. Everything is intentional: from fit, to fabric, to function.
-
How do you control quality?
Quality is built in to every step of our process. We work closely with our US manufacturing partners through development, fit testing and production to ensure each piece meets our standards for coverage and durability. Every style goes through multiple rounds of wear testing (wet & dry) to confirm it performs the way it should. Before shipment each unit is checked for construction, stitching and overall finish. If it doesn’t meet our standards, it doesn't ship. Simple as that.
-
Are your swimsuits actually made for swimming?
Yes. Always. Every piece is designed to function in the water first. That means secure construction, supportive fits, and materials that hold up when wet without losing shape or comfort.
-
Can I wear NNS beyond the water?
Absolutely. Our pieces are designed to transition seamlessly from swim to everyday wear.
-
What materials do you use?
We use high-performance recycled fabrics, including regenerated nylon blends, paired with technical mesh where needed for additional coverage and breathability. Our materials are selected to balance sustainability, durability, and that "second skin" ultra soft feel. So your suit looks elevated but performs like it should.
-
Where are your products made?
Our swimwear is produced in the United States in small batches. We chose domestic manufacturing to support ethical labor practices and higher quality standards.
-
Are your swimsuits sustainable?
We're intentional about every choice we make. From recycled fabrics to eliminating unnecessary components like tags and plastic bags. We focus on reducing waste wherever possible. We're not perfect, but we're committed to improving and making better decisions as we grow.
-
How do I know my size?
Your swimsuit should fit snug, supportive, and securely. Especially when dry. Swim fabric naturally relaxes when wet, so your suit should feel comfortably fitted when you first try it on.
If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing based on your hip measurement first, specially for bottoms.
Still unsure? Check out our quick measurement guide to help find your fit. -
How to Measure?
A few quick tips before you start: Use a soft measuring tape, stand relaxed (don't suck in), and if you can, have someone help you for the most accurate measurements.
How to measure bust.
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level across your back and under your arms. Let your arms rest naturally at your sides. The tape should feel snug, but not tight.
How to measure waist.
Find your natural waist by bending slightly to one side - where your body creases is your waistline. Wrap the tape around that point, keeping it even all the way around. Don't pull too tight; you should be able to fit a finger underneath.
How to measure hips:.
Measure around the fullest part of your hips and butt (this is key for our bottoms). Keep the tape straight and parallel to the floor for the most accurate fit.
How to measure torso (one-piece length).
Start at the top of your shoulder, run the tape down the front of your body, through your legs, and up the back to the starting point. This helps ensure our one-pieces fit comfortably without pulling or riding up. -
Will you restock sold-out items?
Select styles may be restocked based on demand. Because we produce in small batches, quantities are limited. If something you love is sold out, join the waitlist we use that data to guide restocks and future drops.
-
When will I receive my order?
Orders are processed within 2-4 business days. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. Orders ship from the U.S, domestic orders arrive within 3-7 business days after shipment, depending on location.
Please note: Once a package has been handed off to the carrier, we are not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or delivery issues but we'll always do our best to help you resolve them.
-
How should I care for my swimsuit?
Our suits are designed to last, but how you care for them makes all the difference!
After wearing, we recommend rinsing your suit in cold water, especially after chlorine or saltwater use. Machine wash on gentle cycle with like colors. Lay flat to dry.
To extend the life of your suit, avoid rough surfaces, excessive heat or prolonged exposure to oils or sunscreens, which can affect the fabric over time.
Please note: Due to the nature of our recycled fabrics, some colors may bleed, especially on first wash. Hand pre-wash is recommended for delicate colors, and always wash with like colors. Because of the ultra-soft recycled yarn, you may occasionally notice slight creasing or markings. This is normal and will smooth out after washing. Mesh panels are lightweight and breathable, handle with care to maintain shape over time. -
